Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to training, services, product sales, and affiliate programmes provided by Invenio Training Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By booking a course, purchasing from our website, or joining our affiliate programme, you agree to these terms.
1. Scope of Agreement
This agreement is between you (“the client”) and Invenio Training Ltd. It replaces all prior discussions, emails, or documents, except in cases of fraudulent misrepresentation.
2. Our Commitment
If a course is cancelled or its location changed for reasons beyond our control, we will give you written notice and reschedule where possible. If rescheduling is not possible, your refund will not exceed the fee you paid.
3. Payment Terms
Training fees are shown on the booking form and are subject to VAT unless stated otherwise.
Full payment is required within 14 days of invoice, or before training starts if sooner.
We reserve the right to withhold certificates until full payment is received.
Travel costs may apply for training over 50 miles from HP14 4HY: £0.50 per mile and accommodation up to £95/night.
Venues requiring exclusive use may carry an additional charge (discussed before booking).
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
30+ days before training: Full refund or credit.
11–30 days before training: Up to 50% of fee or deposit retained.
10 days or fewer: Full course fee or deposit retained.
Substitutions are welcome at no extra cost.
Admin fee: £25 per cancellation or reschedule.
4A. Workshops (Short-Format Training)
Workshops and short-format CPD events require a £10 booking fee to secure a place.
This fee may be redeemed against any Invenio Training course booked within 12 months of the workshop date. After 12 months, the fee is not redeemable.
Where the fee is not redeemed, 2% will be donated to Adventure Smart UK and the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) Access & Conservation, with the remainder reinvested into the development of future training.
Workshop places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
5. General Terms
You may not transfer this agreement without our written consent.
English law applies, and disputes will be handled by English courts.
Training is delivered in English; interpretation services must be arranged by you.
6. Benefits, Guarantees & Memberships
30-Day Guarantee: Full refund within 30 days of course end date. Certificate remains valid and you will receive a £50 credit towards future face-to-face training. Free online courses and larger discounts are excluded if you request a refund.
Professional Discounts: Available to members of partner organisations (e.g. MTA, Paddle UK, MIA, BMC, Blue Light Card, Defence Discount Card). Proof may be required.
Workshops: Short-format CPD events are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. A £10 booking fee applies in line with Section 4A. MTA members may book via the MTA website where applicable.
Retainer Services: May be cancelled with one month’s notice. Hours do not roll over. Abuse of service may lead to restricted access.
Bundle Offers: Only valid for full-day first aid courses, not half-day or blended EFAW.
7. Product Sales (Gear & Clothing)
All goods are sold by Invenio Training Ltd.
Orders are subject to availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse orders.
Prices include VAT but exclude delivery. Errors in pricing will be corrected before dispatch.
Payment must clear before dispatch.
Delivery normally within 3–5 working days (UK). Express delivery option at checkout, we use Royal Mail.
Returns accepted within 90 days in resale condition, at customer’s expense. Refunds issued within 7 days of return.
Intellectual property, logos, and website content remain property of Invenio Training Ltd.
8. Data Protection & Privacy
We comply with the UK Data Protection Act and GDPR. Personal information is collected only to process your booking or purchase and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
9. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website.
10. Invenio Training Affiliate Programme – Terms & Conditions
By joining the Invenio Training Affiliate Programme (“the Programme”), you agree to the following terms:
1. Commission Structure
Affiliates earn:
£20 for each individual course booking made through their unique affiliate link.
£100 for each group booking (e.g. workplace, club, or centre) made through their unique affiliate link.
Commission is payable only once the booking is completed and paid in full.
Commissions are paid only after the client’s 30-day guarantee period has passed.
Commission rates, payment terms, and eligible products/services are set out in the affiliate agreement and may be amended by Invenio Training Ltd. with notice.
2. Exclusions
Affiliate bookings do not include a free online course as part of the offer stack.
All other benefits remain included for the customer:

Mountain Rescue donation
3. Payment
Commission is tracked via your unique affiliate link.
Payments are made by bank transfer within 30 days of the end of the month in which the course completed.
Commission is not payable on cancelled, refunded, or no-show bookings.
4. Responsibilities
Affiliates must promote Invenio Training in an honest and professional manner.
Affiliates may not use paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.) targeting “Invenio Training” keywords without written consent.
Affiliates must comply with UK advertising standards when sharing links.
5. Termination
Invenio Training reserves the right to remove affiliates from the Programme if terms are breached or if behaviour is inconsistent with our brand values.
Outstanding commissions will still be honoured for valid, completed bookings.
