This Outdoor Pursuits 16 Hour First Aid course meets the requirements laid down by the National Governing Body award schemes, and is aligned with the Institute of Outdoor Learning.

It covers the first aid needed immediately after an accident and then the secondary care and support needed for a long wait where the emergency services may be hours rather than minutes away.

We consider the fact that there maybe more than casualties than the one hurt, there will be friends, family and witnesses. They will all be a casualty, and as an instructor you may have a group with you.

Learning is outdoors in the beautiful Chiltern Hills an AONB.

  • Fun, informative and up to date, with the latest first aid knowledge. A really useful course I recommend to anyone who works or volunteers in the outdoors. The course covers all essential first aid learning but you get to experience this in both in the classroom and in outdoor scenarios.
