First Aid Training for Equestrian Environments

Practical training for when it matters most.

Whether you're riding for pleasure, teaching lessons, running a yard or responsible for others, accidents can happen quickly and often in challenging environments.

When they do, knowing what to do in those first few minutes can make all the difference.

We deliver practical first aid training for riders, instructors, yard staff, volunteers and equestrian organisations, helping you respond calmly, confidently and effectively until professional help arrives.

Our training is practical. Scenario-based. Professionally relevant.
Built for the Equestrian Community

Our courses are designed around the situations riders and equestrian professionals are most likely to face.

We work with:

Horse owners and riders
Riding schools
Livery yards
British Horse Society instructors
Pony Club branches
Riding for the Disabled groups
Equestrian businesses and charities

Training reflects real incidents around horses, yards, arenas, cross-country courses and rural environments—not generic workplace scenarios.

Psychological First Aid is included throughout our courses because not all injuries are visible.

Why Equestrians Choose Invenio

We understand that first aid in equestrian environments presents unique challenges.

Our courses help develop confidence in:

Managing serious injuries while waiting for emergency services
Making calm, informed decisions under pressure
Working safely around horses following an incident
Responding in rural and delayed-response environments
Looking after both casualties and those affected by the incident

Training is delivered in partnership with The Horse Trust, allowing realistic, scenario-based learning within a genuine equestrian environment rather than a classroom alone.

We also support ongoing development through practical workshops, online learning and progression pathways for those requiring higher levels of training.

Training Location

We work in partnership with The Horse Trust, recognised as the worlds oldest equine charity, based in Speen near Princes Risborough. We donate a portion of fees to support this 140 year old charity, looking after our working horses.

Their site offers a unique blend of modern training facilities and a live equestrian environment, including stables, barns, a ménage and extensive grounds. This allows us to run realistic, scenario-based training that reflects real incidents — not classroom theory.
