1) Equestrian First Aid Essentials (3 hours)
You don't need to be a medic. You don't need a formal qualification.
But if you ride and have horses it's good to be prepared. A few practical skills and the confidence to act can make a real difference to you and your friends. So you can continue to share your adventures for many years to come.
Equestrian First Aid Essentials is a practical outdoor course designed for ordinary people who want to feel more confident when things don't go to plan.
Delivered at The Horse Trust, Speen, this immersive 3 hour evening experience combines realistic scenarios, practical skills and expert instruction in the environment where incidents actually happen.

2) Equestrian First Aid Level 3 (1 Day)
A practical one-day course for riders, yard staff and equestrians who want confidence-building first aid skills for everyday riding and yard environments, not simply a generic Emergency First Aid at Work certificate.
Suitable for:
Riders and horse owners
Livery yard staff
Riding schools
Pony Club volunteers and parents
Riding for the Disabled groups
Equine businesses requiring first aid provision
Optional Paediatric Add On for Youth Organisations
The course includes first aid for children, supporting youth groups and organisations working with young riders.

3) First Aid At Work + Equine (2 Days, + online module)
For BHS instructors, employers and those working in higher-risk or more remote environments.
Meets British Horse Society (BHS) requirements for riding instructors.

We work in partnership with The Horse Trust, recognised as the worlds oldest equine charity, based in Speen near Princes Risborough. We donate a portion of fees to support this 140 year old charity, looking after our working horses.
Their site offers a unique blend of modern training facilities and a live equestrian environment, including stables, barns, a ménage and extensive grounds. This allows us to run realistic, scenario-based training that reflects real incidents — not classroom theory.
